Tips for Staying Well

The first thing I did was actually sit down and list out all the things that were making me feel off. Classic Virgo, right? I grabbed a fresh notebook – because an old one just wouldn’t do – and I started scribbling. I saw patterns emerge: too much screen time before bed, skipping breakfast, relying on coffee to push through the afternoon slump, and almost zero actual movement beyond walking to my fridge. It was a bleak picture.

I decided then and there that I needed a proper routine. Not a strict, unforgiving one, because I’ve learned those never last, but a compassionate, consistent one. I began with sleep. My goal was simple: be in bed by 10 PM. I started turning off my laptop an hour before, picking up a physical book instead. It felt weird at first, like I was missing out, but after a week, I noticed a difference. I was waking up feeling less groggy, actually seeing the sunrise instead of just hearing my alarm scream at me.
